The discipleship ministry of Northside Baptist Church seeks to “provide opportunities and encouragement to grow believers into Christian maturity” (NBC bylaws).

Our foundation is Christ as the Cornerstone and Head of the Church (Ephesians 2:19-22; Ephesians 4: 14-16).

Our goal is knowing Christ as the treasury of wisdom and knowledge, “bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God” (Colossians 1:10).

Our impetus is Christ’s final command: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19).

• Small group ministry (Sunday school, Bible studies, and home groups)
• Mentorship
• Hospitality
• Church and community events
• Family support and resources

Programs are growing in these five areas as our current vision is cast and implemented in light of the above. We’d love you to grow in Christ with us.
